In the 2007-08 Season, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will present more than 200 concerts before audiences totaling more than 250,000, offering a variety of programs for people of all ages and backgrounds including:
55 Symphonic and Pops subscription concerts at Bass Performance Hall, including the Great Performances Festival featuring the Mahler Cycle.
7 Special non-subscription concerts featuring the Orchestra with stars such as Wynonna Judd and Betty Buckley plus PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, Barbie with the Symphony, the annual performance of Handel's Messiah and a brand-new concert on New Year's Eve featuring the music of the James Bond movies.
1 Gala concert featuring world renowned violinist Hilary Hahn at Bass Performance Hall
2 performances at Carnegie Hall on January 26 and 27, 2008
19 big nights of music and fireworks at the outdoor Concerts In The Garden summer music festival at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden
84 local education and outreach concerts reaching more than 70,000 children in Fort Worth and surrounding areas
51 performances with the Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and Southwestern Seminary Oratorio Chorus
20 regional touring performances in 5 rural Texas locations reaching 15,000 people outside of Fort Worth
