Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Education Initiatives

The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Association is a leader among Texas performing arts organizations with its extensive and diverse education and outreach program, Adventures in Music. Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra education activities impact more than 60,000 children and adults in Fort Worth and in communities across the State of Texas. Each season the FWSO travels to Killeen, Waxahachie, Mesquite, and Graham to perform symphonic concerts for communities and schools.

Young Persons' Concerts, Student Previews and Kinderconcerts introduce young listeners to orchestral music through innovative and interactive programs. The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall Communities LinkUP! program allows Fort Worth ISD fourth grade students to experience great music as both listeners and performers.

With additional activities such as free Neighborhood Arts Program community and school performances, Symphonic Insights pre-concert lectures and innovative Family Concerts, the Orchestra reaches children and adults of diverse ages, cultures, and experiences throughout the community.
