Composer Workshop 2008 NEW!
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce its 2008 Composer Workshop, to be held Sunday, February 17, 2008, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Van Cliburn Recital Hall in downtown Fort Worth. A selected group of composers will be invited to participate in the workshop, which will feature a reading of the composers' works with the FWSO. Composers will also have the opportunity to receive feedback from Maestro Harth-Bedoya and FWSO Composer-in-Residence Gabriela Frank.

Community Engagement Concerts
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with the Neighborhood Arts Program of the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, performs free outreach concerts each season at churches and community centers. The concerts are designed to bridge the gap between the arts and communities where cultural resources might be limited These engaging performances bring great music to families and neighborhoods throughout Fort Worth. Symphonic Insights
Symphonic Insights Pre-Concert Lectures take place one hour prior to each Symphonic Series concert in the audience chamber at Bass Performance Hall. Join Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya and Principal Keyboard Shields-Collins "Buddy" Bray as they share their unique perspectives on the concert works. Questions are welcomed during these lively, interactive discussions!
