The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra is seeking qualified candidates for Manager of Institutional Giving.  This position collaborates with Vice President of Development to develop and successfully execute the organization’s annual fundraising goals, strategies, and calendar of activities to support corporate and foundation fundraising efforts.

Primary responsibilities include grant writing, identifying new sources of institutional support for the Orchestra, developing and cultivating relationships with corporate supporters and foundations. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills, superior verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and activities. An understanding of the Orchestra’s overall business and its objectives, along with meticulous attention to detail, is critical in the role.  Superior skills in all office software products, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. 

Candidates should hold a B.A. from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2-3 years of successful development experience.  A working knowledge of the performing arts is preferred.
